Alternatives to Caffeine

Caffeine is an addictive yet legal psychoactive drug. Found primarily in cocoa beans, it is the most widely used stimulant in the world. It provides increased alertness in energy. However, when you drink too much caffeine, you are susceptible to its negative side such as headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and acid reflex. If a pregnant woman drinks a lot of caffeinated beverages, her baby may has the risks of low birth weight, DNA inhibition and small head size. Luckily, there are some healthier alternatives to caffeine that work wonders!
