1.     How to Charge My Fitbit One

Fitbit One trackers are powered by in-built rechargeable batteries. For you to charge it, you are required to align the gold contacts in the charging cable to those of the tracker, then connect to a USB charging device or a computer. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the battery and it will take about 2 weeks to use it all up. To check on the battery level you can press the button on the tracker.

2.     How to Reset

If your Fitbit One has stopped responding, you should restart it. Do the following:

  • Plug in the charger cable to a computer
  • Plug in the Fitbit One to the cable ensuring that the gold contacts are aligned
  • Long press the tracker’s button for about 10-12 seconds
  • Disconnect the tracker from the cable and long press till the screen goes on.

By doing so, your tracker will be reset allowing you to navigate through the display normally.

3.     How to Wear the Tracker

The Fitbit One tracker is most effective when fixed close to your torso. When you buy it, the package comes with a clip that helps you fix it where you want it and a sleep wristband that should only be used with the Fitbit One sleep mode. To avoid losing the tracker, you can fix it on our bra, pocket or keep it in the pocket.

It is not advisable to place the tracker directly on your skin, always fix it on the metal and silicon belt with the display facing away from your body. If you experience irritation when use it, affix it to an external article of clothing like your belt.

4.    Is Fitbit One Waterproof?

It is splash, rain and sweat proof. However, it is not waterproof and thus it is not advisable to go swimming with it. You should also avoid getting into the shower with it. However, it can withstand a sweaty workout session or the occasional water splash just fine.
