  • A pound of peeled Jumbo Shrimp

Directions

  • Start by combining 1 tablespoon of peppercorns and 2 tablespoons of sea salt. Heat it over medium heat.
  • Transfer the mixture to a mortar and grind well.
  • Take a sauté pan and preheat it over high heat. Add some canola oil when the pan is hot. Then add shrimp and cook for a couple of minutes on one side.
  • Flip the shrimp to caramelize. Then, add green onions, ginger, and 1 ½ teaspoons of the sea salt mixture.

2. Chocolate Truffle Cookies with Sea Salt

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup of flour
  • 1 ½ cups of baking chips
  • 2 eggs
  • A tsp. of vanilla extract
  • ½ cup of granulated sugar

  • ¼ tsp. each of salt and baking powder
  • 2 tbsp. of unsalted butter
  • Chocolate

Directions

  • Take a heatproof bowl and place it over a double boiler. Then, melt chocolate and butter in it. Once done, transfer the mixture to another bowl and leave the bowl in warm water.
  • Combine baking powder, flour, and salt. Mix well.
  • In another bowl, combine eggs and sugar. Add the chocolate to the mixture and stir well, and at the meantime, add vanilla extract.
  • Then, stir in flour mixture. Let it cool for a few minutes and add the baking chips. Chill for at least 15 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the mixture on your baking tray and sprinkle some sea salt over it. Bake for about 7-8 minutes.
